The above are a few images of the mural I painted in my studio a few semesters ago. In the end this piece proved to be a dead end, but it opened some doors. At first, this project seemed very liberating. I had reached a point where the work felt very stale and I was over thinking everything. So, the wall was simply an excuse to loosen up a little. As this went on however, I felt the craving for some structure. This wall project had become the polar opposite of what I was trying to remedy. So, the next logical step was to find a descent middle ground.
