This painting is on a wood panel. I’m thinking about the varieties of things I can do with a wood surface. Cutting in and building out and so fourth. I still want it to be about painting, but I just figured it could be fun and interesting to address the surface of a painting without being so heavy handed. I don’t know. It might be a bad idea. There’s no way to know without giving it a go.
