Shifts and changes happen our life. They force us to change course when we least expect to. It’s painful and difficult to keep an open mind and except these changes. Life changing transitions can make it seem difficult to wake up each morning. I have had times where I have really felt like I was losing it. A hope of finding any center in my life had slipped away. Slowly, very slowly, I am finding to a way to make sense of the life that I am now living.
These paintings, on a personal level, simple allow me to feel like I can piece things together. I can make sense of things. Things and ideas that arise appear out of no where. Disjointed. I feel disconnected from my thoughts and feelings. They don’t make sense. I don’t recognize them. Maybe, this is how I find my way. I’m hoping to have plenty more on the way.
